Monique is a psychologist with general registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Masters of Clinical Psychology with Excellence from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with the University Medal from the University of Sydney.
During Monique’s professional internships, she worked with a variety of age groups and presentations, and has experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, stress/adjustment difficulties, emotion dysregulation, self-harm, psychosis, and self-esteem issues. Monique also thoroughly enjoys facilitating group therapies and conducting neuropsychological assessments with children, adolescents and adults.
With Masters level training, Monique is proficient in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is committed to providing a warm, safe, and hopeful space for all of her clients, and adopts a calm and collaborative style in her work.
In her spare time, Monique enjoys reading, dancing, playing sports and spending time with her family.
Monique is available Monday and Friday including evenings.
