Manos received his BA in Psychology from Western Sydney University and Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Manos has held registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency since 2018.
Manos has experience working with a wide variety of issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, anger, grief and loss, adjustment and life changes and trauma. He has experience collaborating with professionals on multidisciplinary teams in a variety of settings. Manos is experienced in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Manos utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to guide his practice.
Manos strongly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. He genuinely values the importance of building rapport and establishing a safe environment for his clients. Manos believes in the inherent resilience of the human spirit and embraces a strengths-based lens when working with individuals experiencing adversity.
Manos aims to support clients by strengthening and developing their strategies to better manage the life challenges they are experiencing. Collaboratively he seeks to set goals, implement skills and increase wellbeing with his clients.
Manos promotes and embraces the practice of mindfulness and gratitude, the value of human connection, and the importance of finding meaning in oneโs life.
In his free time, Manos enjoys socialising with friends, exercising outdoors and spending time with his family.
