Isabela is a compassionate and empathetic Registered Psychologist dedicated to providing a nurturing space where individuals can feel truly seen and understood. With a deep-seated passion for helping people overcome challenges and rediscover themselves, Isabela empowers her clients to navigate life’s complexities. Recognising the importance of the therapeutic relationship, Isabela collaborates with her clients to create a supportive environment tailored to their unique needs.

Drawing upon her foundation in humanistic-existential psychology, Isabela has pursued additional training in evidence-based modalities such as Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This allows Isabela to provide comprehensive interventions to clients facing a wide range of challenges.

Isabela holds an Honours degree in Psychology and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She maintains active membership in professional organisations including the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.

With experience in both public and private sectors, including roles in foster care, NDIS providers, Workplace Rehabilitation, not-for-profit organizations, and private practice, Isabela has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She specialises in treating depression, anxiety, trauma including PTSD and childhood abuse, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, workplace issues, and relationship problems.

As a SIRA-approved practitioner, Isabela is authorised to provide services under the Workers’ Compensation scheme, extending her support to individuals navigating workplace-related challenges.

Isabela provides sessions in English and Portuguese. She is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays (including evenings) and Thursdays.
