Provisional Psychologist
Ben is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University. He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing therapy and psychometric assessment.
Ben takes a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach to his work. He aims to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and able to make sense of their experiences at their own pace. He is particularly interested in helping clients break down complex or overwhelming problems into manageable steps, supporting insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful behaviour change.
His therapeutic work is informed by evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and he works flexibly to meet each client’s individual needs and goals. Ben also has experience in psychological assessment, including cognitive, academic, and behavioural assessments. He enjoys integrating assessment findings to provide clarity for clients and to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations.
Ben values ongoing learning and reflective practice and works collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, and families to support positive outcomes for clients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family (including his very large and very lazy Great Dane), getting outdoors for a run, and vegging out with a TV show.
