Provisional Psychologist

I am a Provisional Psychologist who takes a collaborative and flexible approach to therapy. While new to the formal practice of psychology, I bring extensive experience from leadership and specialist roles across education, government, academia and the not-for-profit sector. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of the many life pressures and environments that can affect our mental wellbeing.

I work alongside clients to understand their goals, explore areas of challenge or distress, and find practical and meaningful ways to move forward. My approach is guided by evidence-based practice, while also respecting each person’s own understanding of wellbeing.

My areas of interest include

  • anxiety and depression, specific and social phobias, personal wellbeing
  • walk-and-talk therapy
  • navigating creativity and difference in mainstream environments and
  • gently working through the big questions that arise throughout life.

I am currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology at Charles Sturt University and hold a PhD in philosophy. I am also a fully trained and experienced teacher and have a Master of performance-recorders from the Sydney Conservatorium.
