Clinical Psychology Registrar/Psychologist

Ash is a warm and compassionate psychologist with general registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has supported clients of diverse ages—children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—and has an interest in various mental health presentations, including anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, trauma, and identity change.

Ash’s person-centred approach draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema-Focused Therapy (SFT). He is also youth-friendly and has experience facilitating the Emotion Detectives program for children with emotional challenges.

Ash completed his Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of New South Wales and is currently in his final year of a Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) at the Australian National University. He has also completed a Master of Rehabilitation Counselling at the University of Sydney.

In his spare time, Ash enjoys writing, sport, and spending time with his family and dogs.

Ash is approved to provide psychological services under Medicare and Workers Compensation, and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays including evenings.
